How I Created Brand Consistency
I’m sharing my tips for creating brand consistency across all your images. This will help people to recognize your brand immediately.
Brand consistency is important to any business owner.
My first tip is – does what I’m doing fit my color palette? Whenever you are in doubt or are wondering if something should be used in a photo shoot, think back to your color palette and see if it works in.
My second tip, is keep consistent items in your images. I’m known for always having a coffee mug. It doesn’t have to be the same item every time, but the same item category. For example, I don’t always use the exact same coffee mug, but I often have some type of mug in my images. And keep these images in your color palette as well.
Finally, keep the same light source and location. This will help people to consistently recognize your images. For me, people know white is mine. I keep white walls, white backgrounds, etc. This applies even to my flatlay photos. I shoot in the same studio, at the same time, every week. While this may not always be possible for you, especially if you’re working with natural light, do your best to keep the same look and feel when it comes to lighting.
